Hand Embroidered Reverse Appliqué Give a favorite T-shirt or sweatshirt a fresh new look with the timeless art of hand embroidered reverse appliqué! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to cut away sections of your garment, layer fabric underneath, and secure it with decorative hand embroidery to create a one-of-a-kind design. Most supplies are included. Please bring a clean, laundered T-shirt or sweatshirt to use as the base for your project. Your garment does not need to be new—it's a wonderful way to upcycle a favorite piece of clothing. We'll have a variety of fabric scraps available for you to choose from, or you're welcome to bring your own fabric if you have a specific design or color palette in mind. No embroidery or sewing experience is needed. Come ready to get creative and leave with a personalized wearable work of art!
